Iguassu Falls like a Chocolate Falls

Hi there... So long that I don't come over here, to share the beautiful things around Iguassu...
We are in a rainy season...now is time to have the different color at the Falls...
I always say, I can be there thousands of times, and can tell you, every day is a single day...
Every day is magic, impressive, energetic... and with chocolate you can't imagine...

But why???

Chocolate color...
The view is impressive, but not everything is good in it...

Barely four decades ago the waters of this river ran clear. Since then, with forest clearence in
most of the watershed, each time that it rains water washes away the unprotected soil which turns the river red.
Turbidity affects wildlife: fish cannot find each other to court and spawn, and birds and mammals which feed on fish cannot see their prey.
Today, the dams upriver act as sedimentation tanks and lessen the problem.
